2. Eat Healthy

Persons who are stressed out either start starving themselves or take to overeating. Don’t do either. Eat a balanced nutritious diet with the right food groups. Eat only the required amount of calories. You can have several smaller meals instead of one large meal.

3. Sleep Tight

Adequate sleep is also necessary to combat stress. Lack of sleep or insomnia is dangerous to health especially mental health. Sleep relaxes the mind and helps you solve problems practically. You should try to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep.

4. Alcohol, smoking and drugs- Abstain

In these troubled and stressful times, many find a great ally in alcohol, smoking and drugs. They believe it helps take the mind of the problems at least temporarily. It is being cowardly. Abstain from alcohol, smoking or drugs and face the problem.
