Miley Cyrus rose to fame for the beautiful and mesmerizing songs she has contributed to the world of music over the past few years. But, of recent, the starlet has been in the news for reasons other than her singing. Miley Cyrus turned heads last week when she stepped out with blue tinged locks. It’s the latest tweak to her already widely spoken of hair-do and we doubt the reasons for it.
However, this is not the first hair transformation for Miley Cyrus. It goes back to the latter half of 2012. The Hannah Montana star was known for her bright blonde locks. She cut it off in August 2012 and opted instead for a spiky, short pixie cut. This hair transformation being her first came as a real surprise to the many who loved the long curly locks. Since then, she has experimented with various style and hair transformations at the hands of acclaimed hair stylist Chris McMillan. The change in the hue from bright blonde to steel blue is the latest in the list of hair transformations.
We caught a glimpse of Miley Cyrus’ edgy look on Friday in Los Angeles. The 20 year old singer sported a chic black crop top teamed with a pair of high-waist black trousers and studded Louboutin flats. To add to it was her bright red pout that complemented her steel-blue tresses. She also proudly wore and flaunted the massive 3.5 carat Neil Lane ring presented as an engagement ring by fiancé Liam Hemsworth. This is also the first time she was spotted in public after rumors of Liam Hemsworth cheating on Miley Cyrus with Mad Men star January Jones surfaced. She confidently headed to Glendale Recording Studio for the recording of her fourth studio album.
While the world commented on her blue tinged hair, the pretty and petite entertainer sang a different tune. She took to Twitter to give her bevy of loyal fans an explanation for a new look. “My hurrr ain’t blue,” “That s–ts Platinum,” she wrote on Sunday. The singer claims that though the hair has a blue tint, the actual color is platinum blonde. She clarifies that the blue tint was the result of overdoing a brightening treatment which was only meant to brighten it.
Whether blonde, Platinum or blue we can do nothing except speculate the reasons for this sudden hair transformation. In the light of rumors of a cheating fiancée, some ask if Miley is feeling the blues. But, given that she seemed to be in high spirits over the past few days the possibility stands cancelled. The only other reason left (many others opine too) could be a blue color scheme for her highly anticipated nuptials to Liam Hemsworth. Maybe she’s trying her best to stay true to the theme. The date has not come in yet, but whenever it does we shall keep you updated on it.
