Victoria Beckham celebrated her 39th birthday at the Nobu restaurant. But, it was Posh and the children only. Hubby David was missing from the family pictures. Whatever the reason, the dashing footballer knows how to make it up to his pretty and petite wife. He has planned a romantic getaway to Paris for the weekend. And, this time it will be only the two of them!
The Spice Girl Victoria Beckham celebrated her 39th birthday on Wednesday. She kept it low with a family dinner at the Mayfair restaurant Nobu. She was spotted getting into her car with parents Jackie and Tony Adams, her gang of boys- Brooklyn (14), Romeo (10), and Cruz (8). Her little princess Harper Seven was however not in tow. The Beckham’s were later joined at the Japanese eatery by Tana Ramsay, Victoria’s best friend, and her daughters Megan (14) and Holly (11).
As far as Victoria’s sense of fashion and style is concerned we all know she is one celebrity who rarely strikes the wrong note. She looked dapper in a red jacket and her hair falling over her shoulders. She looked fresh and there was not a sign of age catching up.
Despite David’s absence, she seemed to have a great day. The birthday girl tweeted via her Twitter account – “So much fun on my birthday!!” “Thank u so much!!!! X vb.” She also received good wishes from former band-mates- Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton. She thanked them and her fans with “Thank you for all your messages! Having a special day with my boys and Harper x vb” on her Twitter account.
Husband David Beckham was absent from the celebrations as footballing commitments compelled him to stay in Paris. He was caught up training for French Team Paris Saint Germain. Victoria Beckham however didn’t seem to mind as they are but one celeb couple who truly understands and supports their spouse.
But, David is sure not leaving it at that! He has something special planned for the family particularly his wife. The footballer has made special arrangements to fly his family- his wife, their four children and Victoria’s parents to Paris. Once there, he plans to steal away wife and spend quality time only with her. The grandparents shall take responsibility of babysitting the children.
A source speaking to the British newspaper, The Mirror said, “Obviously, they spoke lots and he’d arranged a series of small gifts, including flowers, to be with her on her day, courtesy of the kids,” and went on to add “ but his main present is flights for the whole family including grandparents , to join him in the French Capital. He and Victoria has hardly spent any time together of late and so David’s saying he’s going to spoil her rotten and make up for the lost time.” The source also revealed that he has booked a five star hotel and plans to spend the entire day and night alone with his wife.
