Our worst fears have come true! The “Twilight” lovers Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart have called it quits following days of arguments and deliberations. Shortly after the couple made the announcement, Robert Pattison was spotted leaving Kristen’s home with a truck full of belongings and their two adorable dogs.

Rob and Kristen’s decision to split may have come like a surprise for many. But, trouble actually started brewing during the weekend leading up to Rob’s 27th birthday. On the weekend before his birthday, Pattison was seen partying with friends at LA hotspot, Chateau Marmont. Kristen Stewart however did not accompany her Twilight co-start and boyfriend of four years. When asked if everything was “fine” between the two, reports dismissed speculation of a possible split saying that “Kristen chose to party with her own friends”.
Soon after, the reports of Robert and Kristen spending the formers birthday apart fueled the speculations once again. And this time, the couple did nothing too deny it. In fact on Saturday, the couple officially called it quits. A source close to the couple told Yahoo Omg! , “They have been having problems for a while now. They may technically be broken up for now, but this actually isn’t new.”
Another source revealed, “Things have been shaky since Rob got back from Australia.”
The couple have been together for almost four years and met on the sets of Twilight. An insider states that the split is only a temporary break in their relationship. They want some time and space apart. However, they are reportedly allowed to date other people.
Speaking about the impact the split has had on the two actors, Kristen Stewart is quite devastated. A source told HollywoodLife.com, “They are basically allowed to date other people and Kristen is super sad over the whole thing. She has absolutely no desire to date anyone and the thought of Rob possibly seeing others had made her sick to her stomach. She’s depressed and rightly so.” Kristen is leaning on her close friends for support as she goes through this difficult phase in her life.
According to the reports from PopSugar, following the split Robert Pattison collected his belongings and left Kristen’s Los Feliz house in California on Sunday. Among his belongings on the bed of his big red pickup truck was a black suitcase, a bike and trash bags full of things. Their two dogs Bear and Bernie were also in tow. It is said he arrived in the morning and was in her house for not more than 30 minutes.
While many opine that Kristen has taken the split the hardest Rob did not look happy either. Sources said he looked “Miserable” and as though “he had just been kicked out”.
So, what actually went wrong for this young couple who seemed deeply in love? The truth is the couple had not fully recovered from the whole issue of Kristen cheating on Robert with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. The issue continued to put a strain on their relationship.
A source related to US Weekly, “All this Stuff came up. A lot of issues came up. [They argued] about the cheating, about how selfish she always is, about how moody he always is.”
However, sources close to the couple hint that this may not be the end of “Robsten”. The two love each other so dearly that there is every possibility the couple may reunite. Let’s hope so.
