2. Running shoes for your Foot Type

There are three main types of shoes. They are as follows:

2.1 Cushioned Shoes:

Cushioned shoes are ideal for women with a higher foot arch. The additional cushion in the midsole supports the foot. It is flexible and helps greatly to absorb shock.

2.2 Stability Shoes:

Stability shoes are meant for women with a normal arch looking for a comfortable, well balanced and light shoe that will help them train effectively.

2.3 Motion Control Shoes:

Women with flat feet should opt for motion control running shoes. They offer the extra support and durability that a flat foot demands.

Note

In addition to this, women with a low arch need to choose straight shoes, those with a neutral or normal arch will be comfortable with semi-curved shoes and those with a high arch should buy curved shoes.

Check the quality and fit of the shoe before you buy it. The shoes should fit snugly and should also have enough space for your foot.

We would like to end with a few words of advice – Buy a pair of well-fitting, good quality running shoes to stay fit and comfortable.
