Myth #2 Just before leaving, home press a blob of sunscreen onto your palms, smear it on the face, neck and arms and you’re ready to go

We apply sunscreen at the last minute; a few minutes before we step out of the house. One due to lack of time and second because we believe that it is fresh. Read the directions of use mentioned on the pack. It always says “Apply 15-30 minutes before you go out into the sun. There is a reason for it. The sunscreen takes minimum 15 minutes to absorb into the skin and start working. So, keep in mind for the next time.
