4. Reward them for their services
Many parents are not very happy with the idea of paying their children to baby-sit their siblings. But, remember it’s not the pay that counts, it’s the reward. A reward for services can be truly motivating. You can pay them a small amount to add to their saving; additional money they can use of luxury items for themselves. Buy something they have been asking for a while. You could also allow them an extra evening with friends or sponsor movie tickets for your teenage and his or her best friend.
