8. Respect for Elders and Others
It is necessary that you demonstrate to your child the importance of respecting others and elders by greeting them in the right manner, thanking them whenever you have to (For example if your child has spent the day at his or her friends house, he or she should thanks his friends parents for having him or her over), asking to help another or fulfilling a task given to them without grumbling. The best way to do this is practice what you preach.
