3. What shall be the theme?
Though not a compulsion, it is a great idea to have the baby shower centered on a particular theme. It gives you the freedom to do a lot more. The conventional themes of blue and pink are applicable if the sex of the child is known. If not, you can choose a theme that reflects the interests of your best friend or the daddy-to-be. It is best to go with a universal theme and not one which is woman centric. The time of the year (season) is another cue for a theme. Consult your friend and ask her about the ideas she has in mind.
