5. Tangy reds, sunshine yellows and vibrant oranges

The list of tangy red anti-aging foods are tomatoes, watermelons and red grapefruit. They contain Lycopene, a carotenoid known to neutralize free radicals and to block sun damage to skin.

Other good choices of colored vegetables are carrots, pumpkins, melons, sweet potatoes and squash. They contain beta-carotene in large quantities. Not only this, these foods are rich in fibers and vitamins. Beta carotene present in these veggies and fruits put off premature aging by repairing cell damage. It protects the skin against sun damage and is good for the eyes too.

These are not the only foods that help tackle the signs of aging. There’s yoghurt (it is one of the best sources of calcium, proteins and Vitamin D), red wine (It contains an ingredient resveratrol), garlic, black beans, soybean and water. You simple cannot forget water. It keeps the skin hydrated and washes out toxins giving it a fresh look.
