As women, we love mixing and matching, creating a unique look that’s all our own. It’s that same creative flair that goes into the mixed texture style this summer. This summer 2014 trend was ripped right off the runways and is a modernized twist to classics we’ve grown to love. In this picture, the hair is styled very close to the head, held in place with a styling gel or pomade. Her long tresses are styled into loose waves, starting around the middle of the head through the ends of the hair. For even added flair and dimension, the mixed texture is combined with ombre coloring for a look that commands attention… in the best way.
