6. Your thank you speech

There are many people who have worked to make this day a success. If you sit down last minute you’re may miss out someone really important. Your thank you speech should not be long and detailed. A short, well structured one that sends out thank you to everyone should suffice.

 

7. Placing a person in-charge of the gifts

I know it sounds absurd but there have been many instances when couples lost in their joy have forgotten to take their gifts home. What happens after that? They never saw those gifts again. If you don’t want this to happen request a friend or relative to collect the gifts and take them home for you.

 

8. Transport arrangements

Transportation is a major requirement on your wedding day. You will need someone top drive you to the salon, to drop home elderly guests in the wee hours of the night or ferry the bridal party from the church to the reception venue. Don’t forget to call on a driver or hire a car or two. Do the bookings in advance.
